Great hair with the right towel

Great hair with the right towel
Shampoo at roots, condition at tips. Check. Hair serum and mousse. Check. Oiling hair once a week. Check. Hair spas once in a while. Check. We do a lot to keep our hair dense and beautiful. But have you ever thought of how much damage your regular bath towel is doing to your hair? Most bath towels (and especially the old ones that have become rough and hard) are terrible for your hair. And if you’re using an old-styled gamcha to dry your hair, stop NOW! Fibres from terrycloth or older/ rougher/ starchier cotton towels create friction with your hair while rubbing. This roughs up the roots, causing frizzy hair. It also results in all those short hairs you see around your hairline, which is basically your hair breaking close to the roots because of the friction. If you notice any one of the following: – receding hairline (from the forehead, behind the ear or at the nape), – thinning hair, – scalp showing, or – frizzy hair then one of the reasons could be your towel.
